Hello, I’m Holly Heathcote and I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2019 with a First Class Honours degree in Sports Therapy.
Since graduating, I have gained qualifications in both Medical Acupuncture and Dry Cupping.
Whilst at university, and since graduating, I have worked alongside numerous healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, consultants, and chiropractors.
I have experience working with many different patients who have musculoskeletal (MSK) needs, not all of which have sporting backgrounds. I have worked and continue to work in numerous areas, such as hospitals, gyms, private clinics, and sports clubs.
HRH Sports Therapy currently operates two clinics, the first is in Bolton, Greater Manchester, within Phoenix Physiotherapy. The second clinic is in Preston, Lancashire within EveryBody Fit Gym and Centre of Education. Here I assess, treat and rehabilitate a range of MSK injuries.
I am currently also working as a physiotherapy assistant at a hospital, this role includes pre-operative assessments for hip and knee replacement patients, and postoperative rehabilitation.
My third and final role currently is within a chiropractic clinic, where I assess and treat numerous spinal conditions, working alongside chiropractors who have over 20 years experience.
I consider myself to be a very hands on therapist, my favourite aspect of the job is soft tissue therapy. My favourite thing to do is help others, I love Disney and enjoy keeping active in the gym in my spare time.
